As a family who LOVE to travel, we wanted to come up with a simple but educational way to keep our kids entertained on the road.

During the last 2-years whilst designing the book we travelled to many places, with the book being a life saver throughout long days in the car.

We visited some iconic Australian destinations whilst writing the book including:

• Telegraph track Cape York

• Weipa

• Cairns

• Carnarvon Gorge

• Outback QLD & NSW

• Canberra

• NSW coast

• Various camps in south-east and far north QLQ

Both our kids (7 & 12 years old) assisted in creating the content in the book, by helping to come up with fun activities and games they can play on the road, whilst being physical test dummies during regular family holidays in our camper trailer while the book was being designed.

The travel book was created to be ‘easy to read and follow’ for kids whilst in the back seat with some activities involving parents. The best ages for the book would be between 5 and 13 years old, younger kids can also use the book but may need some assistance from parents.
